Alex and his crew are very nice and always professional. They always do a great job in everything that I have asked them to do beyond the normal that he does. He has rebuilt walls and new stairs and railings on the stairs and around my deck. He has cut down trees for me and hauled away the remains. Also repaired my sprinkler system. Would recommend him and his crew on anything that needs to be done.

I used Alix for a home I was building to sell. A spec home. It was a difficult project and Alix worked with us closely over many months to get it just right. Alex was a great part of the team and helped to make the house shine. I would use him happily.

Alex and crew are reliable and hardworking and our landscaping always looks beautiful after they have been here. He has great ideas and gets the work done quickly. He has pruned our trees, put down compost and bark, built stone garden terraces and fixed a lovely dry river rock bed for when our culvert floods, as well as usual maintenance of lawn and weeding and planting. He is easy to talk to and flexible to the needs of his customers. Highly recommended!

He has, in fact, assisted our entire neighborhood by clearing the center wetland as well as the sides of the entrance driveway from invasive blackberries. Alex is not only excellent at his craft, but is also a man with the highest integrity and character. We started working with Alex in 2015 and from day one he showed his value. At first, we used him just for some garden cleanup, but his work was so good that soon we were using him to completely reimagine and restore areas of our garden and property. Eventually, we had him rebuilding our patio, transforming portions of our forested area behind the house into a playground paradise, and then rebuilding our driveway. He is exceptional in that he doesn’t just do what you ask him, but instead is creative and a problem solver – finding solutions and providing advice to make the end result better than you had thought possible. And when he is working, this is a man who works unbelievably hard, and demands the same from his crew. I have seen him bring in assistance, but then after a short time, replace them if they don’t work to his standards. He doesn’t do this without kindness, he just simply has high standards and isn’t willing to compromise on that to protect his customers.
There are many people you could hire to work on your landscaping. There are a few people that come close to what Alex does. We moved away from the area and now live in Montana, and regularly discuss the possibility of flying him out to help us on a new home. He’s that good as a craftsman, he’s that good a person. We can’t recommend him enough.
